Another Hyosung dealer, and one close to my heart, is closing it's doors. Pat Yearing and MPG Motors will close in late August.

Folks, this will be the last monthly newsletter that we will be sending out. After seven years we have decided to close our doors at MPG Motors. Many of you are already aware of this announcement. However, please make sure you read-on, there are some words at the end that I wrote just for you!

Our last day of sales will be August 25th. We will be offering the best deals on our remaining inventory.

We have been looking for a buyer for the dealership and continue to do so. In lieu of that, we have been working with other local dealerships to take on our brands if a buyer does not emerge. For both scenarios, we are also working with our bike brands to facilitate the transition. Please remember that existing Hyosung, Genuine and SYM dealers are already available (see below). As you all know, I am very proud of our brands and recommend them to dealers just as I did to you.

As this is "real-time," if you have, or know someone that has, a burning desire to be a scooter/motorcycle/used-car dealer - give us a call. Nothing has been set in stone just yet. This would be a fine time to let me know.

We thank you for your support and most of all your friendship since we have opened. Please stop by or drop us a note if you get a chance. For the next few weeks until further notice, we will be open from 2-6 Tuesday-Friday and 10-5 on Saturday.

Pat

Oh Bob,  I didnt know.  I'm sad to hear this.

Thanks for your kind sentiments.  Although I took a huge financial hit personally and am out of the game, my former partner Richard Yelvington has joined up with some venture capitalists in the next county and formed Yelvington Trikes.  They will continue to build what Richard and I designed and hopefully have the financial resources to do it right, keep if affordable and actually make a profit.  They are getting in new machinery and skilled staff to enable them to build every piece in-house (a luxury Trinity never had) and are targeting a full re-launch early this Fall.  Keep an eye on them via:  www.YelvingtonTrikes.com

Don't dispair!  Yelvington Trikes is not only still building the GV650/UM trike kits, I think they are planning to start building them as finished trikes in the near future.  Keep an eye on their website for updates as to when the 650's will be ready for shipping.
