first off thanks for all the help and suggestions when my bike was not in the best of shape.. did 1000km after the serving and the bike runs like a charm... now i am in the hunt for a new set of tires for the 250.. i was setting my eyes on the B'stone Batlax but it is very difficult to get your hands on these in India... and if you get .. it slike double the price.. got some offer on Shinko 005 and Pirelli Diablo ...

Please help in advise if these can last a good life and has good wet and dry grip...

My GT250 came with Shinkos from the factory - these were a reasonable all-purpose tyre, not too bad in the wet and while they certainly were not as sticky as say Dunlop Qualifiers they wore very well, personally I would say they are a good compromise for the size bike as long as you don't want to go racing. -2c-

I think Battleaxe is a too advanced tyre if you judge the bike performace. I am using Pirelli Sport Demon which I feel is a good tyre in wet and dry and performs more than good for me. The first thing I do on Hyo 250 are to take off Shinko which I find awful in the wet. No experience with Dunlop.
