I'm looking for a bike jack for the GV650. I see a lot of "generic" jacks but I'm hoping someone might know of one that fits the center stand bracket for a more secure maintenance experience.

If there's not one that locks into the center stand bracket, I'm open to suggestions for "personal favorites".

Thanks,

I've never seen one specific for a GV, besides having a custom center stand made, but for security, Pit Bull track stands will work very nicely. They have a variety of swing arm and fork stands available, so surely there's one that would suit your needs, I would just be wary of using a brand other than Pit Bull as many have been noted to be of poor quality.

As for lifts, personally I use a Craftsman motorcycle / ATV lift. Fits under the GV nicely, and a couple of nylon ratchet straps keep the bike securely fixed to the lift.

I bought the Professional model, but I've heard good things about their standard model, as well as the one Harbor Freight sells. One of the things I particularly like about this model is that it has a built-in lock, so after raising the bike, you can actually release the hydraulic pressure and it will rest on the lock, taking the stress off the hydraulic system, thereby extending its life.

I have to add a yea & amen to this one.  I got one when I had my GV650 and it did work great.  Although I don't have the GV650 anymore, I still have and love the jack.  Very strong and steady and good for a variety of bikes.

I have a Larin 1500 lb motorcycle/ATV jack that works very well on my bikes.  It came with various attachments for adjusting the fit under the frame for clearance from low hanging exhausts or other low hanging stuff below the frame tubes.   It locks in position to take the pressure off the jack pump, and has side rails for added stability.   I bought the thing off of Craigs list for cheap, so I don't know which stores carry it in stock.   I think it's way more versatile than the HF and Sears model lifts.

Bye
