Ok, %600 miles actually on the Speedmaster, henceforth to be known as Othello.

I don't think I had posted here but I am taking classes to get my motorcycle emchanic certificate at a nearby college. One of the perks is that I get access to all sorts of equipment, anuals, and yes, a Dyno!

I got the chance tonigth to run Othello on teh Dyno, and got someenlighenign results fro a quick pull:

52.9 bhp and 49 ft-lbs torque. Not bad, and the HP is actually what I expected. Triumph lists 60 bhp and 53 ft-lbs but I suspect those numbers are somewhat optimized.

Those results are pretty decent. You're running it completely stock right?

Yep, completely stock. I'm going to run it again after the 6K service and see how the numbers hold up; also at some point I will likely put Off Road pipes on and it should be interesting to see what if any difference that makes.

You'll probably see a small jump with some more miles on it.
