I do not use a tool, just refer to the manual for the adjustment, the only extra  thing that you need to do is suspend the bike off the ground.   This will give you the opportunity to check that the belt is riding in the centre of the rear pulley.

You have (or should have) two axle adjusters on either side of the swingarm.  If your belt is rubbing hard on one side (you should see evidence of this on the side of the belt) then loosen the axle bolt and also loosen the lock nut on each axle adjuster and tighten/loosen as necessary to center the belt, but make sure and keep the belt properly tensioned.

There may be alignment notches on either side of the swingarm, and Hyosung seems to have them pretty well matched up, but I always consider them as a general guide and try to visually sight the tire and belt also.

Have tried adjusting the belt several times without luck. And, yes: I understand how to to this. But it still wont centre, could it be problems at the other end causing this?
At the age of 52 I got my driver licence for MC last year, and did buy this "new" 2007 Gv 650 as a first bike. Better buying a new Korean bike than a 15 year old bike from Japan? But now I do not know!
Considering a chain drive conversing kit on eBay as a solution......

Problem solved!
The problem was defintly at the other end! One damned lazy worker at the Hyosung factory had not done his job properly. The front sprocket belt pulley was not mounted and fastened as it should. This causing the pulley beeing out of position, not properly balanced and making trouble adjusting the belt.
The local Suzuki dealer took a look ( yes- a look: they will not even touch korean bikes), and made me sure that the pulley had to be taken off to find out what was the problem.
Now things work even better than before the problems!
