Yikes, that guy effortlessly blends courage and stupidity like none other.

Not sure how the Canadian justice process works, but if he were in the US and utilized his right to remain silent when confronted by police the video alone would not be enough to convict.

We also have the right to remain silent. However if they can find the bike by tracking down the IP address of the  You Tube post and by tips from citizens, they can identify the owner of the bike. The police are also asking for any drivers on the highway when the run took place to come forward. I suspect they already have enough information to find the bike and driver and they may also have an eye witness or two. Video evidence has won convictions here before for various offences. The funniest ones are the culprits videoing themselves committing the crimes and putting it on the internet!

The police here tend to make silly statements, like the last one in the article.
