The hot new movie seems to be the hunger games and with its almost $20million mid-night showing setting a new record i'm eager to see it.  Most of the movie was shot here and from what i heard from the AM deejays yesterday, some of the locations they filmed at are my favorite riding locations off some of the backroads. One of the locations they mentioned specifically was bridal veil falls, a waterfalls you can drive behind for photo ops. With Dirty dancing, Last of the mohecans, and now hunger games hollywood seems to find all the great riding locations. Cheesy

Viewing Hunger Games is in our future in the next week. My girls have read all the books, me I'll just see the show. I 'm in the midst of the Game of Thrones books. Brutal  Shocked Shocked

I can't really tell the difference in programming between am and fm radio for most stations. Many just switched modulation methods and frequencies and kept right on with the same old stuff.

I was pretty impressed with the movie. There were some pretty obvious departures from the books in order to save time, but still kept fairly true.

I wonder though, would someone who didn't read the book understand the plot?

i bought the book to read prior to seeing the movie. my daughter got to it first and i thought, "well with her work and school i got a week or so until i get it back". She gave it back the evening of the next day, " the book was great, can't wait to see the movie"
