Bruce,

I removed the back baffle from my 350 Spyder (three piece exhaust) and all I did was back out the f/a mixture screw to 2.75 turns which reduced, but didn't totally eliminate popping on decel. The jets are stock and the needle clip is second up from the bottom.

For me this is just about the ideal set up. The bike accelerates smoothly without any hesitation right through the gears, sounds great, good top end, and idles smoothly at 1200 rpm, which is slightly lower than spec and stops it sounding like a demented sewing machine!

For my next tank of gas I am going to try the higher of our two available octanes to see if that will get rid of the popping.

My chain has 5k kms on it and it looks and feels like new; gets checked every week, but the only time I adjusted it was when I first got the bike and upgraded the engine. However, the Euro spec bikes might have a better quality chain.

Cheers, Rog

We get the intakes from whygostock.com.

Really? Can you please link to where they sell the intakes because I have never seen them on their website. Since you say get them from whygostock.com, are they better than the "stock" ones?

We get the intakes from whygostock.com.

That would make sense considering you are Whygostock.com.

This discontinues the advertising segment of our show folks. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming...

Still the problem was they were spamming the board.

Ivor has been working on these brackets and I have made a few prototypes for him and have one on my bike. He just has too many irons in the fire at the moment i believe.
