Un-Stabled... and Looking

Bill, from what I heard, most states unemployment benefits stink.  That's why we motivated individuals move forward, and hunt diligently to get out of that situation.  Sorry to hear about the job loss.

Perhaps this spring/summer I can make a trip out to visit my friend in Bridgewater.  (Not looking forward to the Comet on 287.. but you do what you gotta do, and after hanging out here in Cleveland i don't believe there isn't too much this can't do within the legal speed limits.
Maybe we can meet up at hotdog jonnys'

I only worked in Bridgewater. I live in PA. But yeah, we can possibly meet up somewhere. Maybe split the difference in mileage.

Wow Bill, sorry I haven't looked in on this page in a while.  Sorry to hear about your job.  Will you be starting the new one soon?  Here I have been going on and on about my new job, while you lost yours.  Sorry for my insensitivity.  I really hope things work out for you.

Not a big deal. These things happen. I'll be starting my new job in ~2 weeks.

It doesn't matter what you ride, just ride!

Sorry to everyone on ACD. I haven't been on the forums for quite a while. But I am happy to see this posting for a gathering near my current home! For those that don't know, I live just south of Lexington, KY, just a few miles off of I-75 on US 421. If you are looking for a place to pitch a tent, I have an acre of land here. I ride with the local SCRC chapter out through the Natural Bridge / Red River Gorge often. It takes less than an hour to get there from my location here. There are plenty of twisty roads around here. Some say that they are almost as good as the Snake or the Dragon.   Huh

Bill, sorry to hear about the loss of your old job. I'm glad you were able to find a new job so quickly, even if it is less income.

Haven't seen any action on this trip for quite a while.  I hope a few people will be able to attend.  Surely I'll be able to make it to a future event.

Darn, guys - somehow I missed this thread entirely over the last few months!  My condolences, Bill, on the job situation.  I know exactly how that feels as you remember where I was last year.  Luckily mine didn't have the break that you did...

BTW, we should have both SAN and Sys Admin positions down here in Florida at my location in FSU - we're moving customers off of older departmental SAN's into an Enterprise environment.  If you're interested, send me a PM.  I know that you have another position by now, and I doubt that we pay even what you now get, but might be worth the thought.....
