Ok folks here it is. Boyoco (jorge) really enjoyed the Tellico plains gathering and was adament about doing something this year since the western trip was not possible for many so we have come up with the following:

Natural Bridge/ Lexington Virginia KOA is the base  camp. the area is a popular motorcycling destination and the campground is host to moto guzzi rally and a few othe motorcycle clubs.
the dates are set:Friday, May 25 (arrive) thru Mon, May28 (depart). This is a holiday weekend so the campground will be full. Reservations will need to be made as soon as possible.
The following are rates, based on 10% koa member discounts. only one member of a cabin or tent site needs to be a koa member to receive the discount:

1 room cabin, sleeps 3. $78.88 per night (about $24. per person per night)

2 room cabin, sleeps 5. $97.94 per night (about $20 per person per night) ONLY ONE LEFT AVAILABLE

tent sites: 2 adults @$39.75 per night (about $20 per person)

the reservation number is 1-800-562-8514.   http://koa.com/campgrounds/natural-bridge

The reason we chose this location and time frame was that it was geographically central to many and worked best for Bill. Yes this was taylored to fit Bill's schedule so he will be able to attend. It would be great if many could attend

If you have any questions please ask as im sure i forgot something.

Will check calendar at work, but this seems far enough out to get a jump on having off around that holiday.

More importantly, gotta check the budget.  These days I actually do have to ask how much things cost.

750+ miles each way would by far be the longest mc trip I've ever attempted, so need to be realistic.

An overnight stop along the way would likely be necessary, which adds to the total trip cost.

Okay, if Bill's in, I'm in.  I'll be tenting, so I'll worry about my own site.  Unless anyone else is bringing a tent and wants to split a site.  If so, just PM me.

I'll go ahead and request that Friday off.   Cheesy

Bill,
We can get the 2 room cabin and split the cost, don't worry about the snoring, we did this with Nate and Jay last year and I did not even notice Nate's snoring.  Grin

You must be going deaf! My snoring is pretty legendary.  laugh

I'd love to make this one, but the odds aren't good. House sucking me dry and the Vegas trip in July...  Cry

So for those of you staying in cabins, any idea where on the campground map you're looking?
