not sure about speed, but I know because they aren't fullsize, that North Carolina stopped letting them be registered...heard many states were following suit...

Good luck...

Welcome to ACD newbepa!

Member Thompson might be able to help you with mods.

As for registering, normally Yurconic or some other state licensed facility should take the MSO.

Welcome newbepa!

How much speed are you currently getting out of it?

Most knockers will change the front sprocket to a 16 or 17 tooth one.  That will give you a bit more speed, less rpm's and less vibration, but you will loose a bit of torque too.  Depending on your weight, under 200lb rider go 17 over 200lb go 16.  This is the cheapest mod (~$15).

The next thing they do is change the stock carb for a bigger one.  A 26mm (22mm inside) Mikuni one will do wonders, I've heard.  That's ~$60-$70.

You can keep on changing stuff, depending on how much you want to spend on it: iridium spark plugs, spark plug cables, K&N air filter, performance CDI, hotter coil, etc. but those will make little difference on your top speed.

Welcome to ACD newbepa!

I recently went to a vintage mc meet here in Seattle - a lot of rat rods, stocker vintages, HD's, Ruckus battlescooters  Shocked  and a group came with their kikkers.  The kikkers were pretty sweet!

Newbepa,

I have the 2009 Hardknock Bobber 110cc with 15 tooth counter sprocket or front sprocket, and it is pushing 55mph!

Now JMO going any faster on my bobber is what I call waiting to become a statistic, by all means if you wanna go faster you can change your engine drive sprocket which will give you more top end speed, but drastically kills your take off aka torque!

I'd suggest trying the Hardknock forum, there are many dealers there that sell many performance upgrades for all size engines on the Hardknock Bobbers!

Here's the Link:

Peace Crazy Horse.

My 2009 Hardknock Bobber stock 110cc semi-automatic 4-speed s-stroke chinese cloned honda horizontal Lifan engine!

Yup, +1.

I crossed a few PM's with newbepa.  He is actually running the 125cc engine, not the 110.  Not that it will make that much difference, but if you're getting 55 out of the 110, a 125 should put you right up there on the 60's  ??  Undecided
depending on his weight.

BTW, your bobber looks really cool...  knock on and welcome!  Wink
