The exhaust should be a little looser than the intakes.  Usually no less than .004 of an inch is good for the exhaust valves and no less than  a loose .002 inches for the intakes.  The exhausts valves get hotter, expansion.  Also, due to the heat, the seats will compress inwards extending the valve stem.

I did 2 08 300cc spyders, one had like 1430 mi. and other had 33 mi and was only hitting on one lung loosened up valves and is running great on both sides and other one was running ok but valves were kinda tight. On both bikes I set the lash a .003 or .076 mm  my feeler gauge is SAE  .002 is like .056mm and .004 was .105mm  and JPM telling me .06 to .10 I did this for the intakes it was a "sliding fit" and exhaust was a "loose fit" Hope that helps and is clear enough for everyone. Cool

My 2008 spyder seems to be running stronger out of the left exhaust pipe compared to the right...is that the problem you're talking about?  I already gotta take it back to the dealer, the radiator's leaking pretty bad.

Yep ask them to adjust them, because the right side is tight. Is the black tube leaking? the little one that goes to lower tub?ask them to use hose clamp in place of lame spring clip
